Our Women’s group has been confirmed for the 2025 All-Island Cup after the group stage draw that took place in FAI HQ on Wednesday afternoon, with the Blues set for three group fixtures in their inaugural participation in the competition.
Fresh from kicking-off their 2025 SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division campaign, the Blues found out on Wednesday who they would face in this year’s All-Island Cup – a competition that now enters its third season of existence, with Galway United FC Women’s claiming the trophy on both the first two occasions.
Gary Hunt’s side have been drawn in Group D alongside Treaty United FC, Athlone Town AFC, along with Irish League side Glentoran FC.
Waterford will start their campaign with a trip away to Treaty United FC at the end of April, before welcoming Glentoran FC to the RSC for another historic game at the end of May, when we host a Northern Irish side for the first time.
Two-weeks after the Glentoran clash, the Blues welcome reigning league champions Athlone Town AFC to the RSC for our third and final group game of the competition.
The top two teams after three games played will progress into the quarter-finals of the competition, which will be played in the second-half of the year.
Please note: Full fixture details are yet to be confirmed, and will be confirmed by the club in due-course.
