Hess Sports Group, a subsidiary of Hess Enterprises, is engaged in women’s professional sports through Hess Cycling Team, Hess Football and many more exciting projects in the pipeline.

Hess Cycling Team was founded in 2023 and competes on the UCI Continental Tour. Hess Football will be acquiring female football teams in the UK/EU in the upcoming months.

Following our principles, Hess Sports Group offers our professional athletes long term partnerships which include the development of their sports career, further education as well as commercial platforms for their life after cycling and football. We are proud to say that this approach is unknown in the sports world today.

Cycling and football are one of the most exciting, challenging and popular sports in the world with millions of participants and fans around the globe. In recent years, women’s sport has seen exponential growth – but there’s more progress to be made. Female professional sports is still very much at the beginning of a long successful path. The athletes perform in an unbelievable way which deserves nothing else than respect.
This is where our group comes in. We have been transforming projects from zero to a huge success for over three decades in different industries, in different areas. Whenever we start a project we do it not only with commercial skills, we always pair our skills with emotions, with passion.

Director Hess Sports Group

Emily, the Director of Hess Sports Group is very passionate about driving positive change in female sports and supporting athletes within our group. Emily actively works to create opportunities and promote equality, strongly believing that every female athlete deserves recognition.

Wayne

CFO Hess Sports Group

Wayne is the CFO of Hess Sports Group and a lover of all sports! Wayne enjoys watching and participating in all sports, particularly supporting the underdog and seeing them triumph.

Janine

Head of Marketing & Communications

Janine is responsible for the Marketing & Communications of Hess Sports Group. She is passionate about building strong connections with our audience as well as our partners to create meaningful and interesting campaigns.

Katie

Project Manager Merchandising

Katie has a love for endurance events, and the last few years have seen her run the length of Wales, complete Ironman’s and 100km Ultra marathons – with many more to come.

She is passionate about encouraging others to step outside their comfort zone and take on new challenges, whether this is a 5k walk, marathon or triathlon. As a qualified Personal Trainer, who specializes in Kids PT, her main focus is to try and help teenagers find their confidence within Sport.

Pirmin

Team Manager Hess Cycling & Head of Development

Pirmin grew up in a small village in Switzerland. Since there was no football club in the village, only a brass band or cycling club was left. To be mobile, the bicycle was the better choice. Then he couldn’t get away from it. An emergency became a passion. Pirmin is not only the Team Manager for our Cycling Team, he is also working on different other projects that Hess Sports Group might pursue.
